Microgravity Science Lab Web Animations

return to ground cyberlab home page

To get the most out of Ground Cyber-Lab Animations:

Many of our tutorials and experiments use interactive animations using the "Futuresplash" plugin. If you cannot use Futuresplash on your machine, you will be able to see a non-animated version of the graphics on all pages.

If you see a cube in orbit, you have FutureSplash! <img src="nofsplashglobe.gif" ISMAP BORDER="0"> Sorry! You don't have Futuresplash. </A>

If the picture above says "Sorry, you don't have Futuresplash," read on.

You will need a browser that supports "plug-ins," and "Java" to view the animations on the MSL-1 Science Pages. You may have to tell your browser to enable Java. Widely available browsers that support both are:

Either Netscape Navigator 2.0 or above,

If you do not have FutureSplash, you will see a globe above with a big red circle and a slash through it. Install FutureSplash from FutureWave, Inc. by following the instructions.

or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or above.

FutureSplash will automatically be installed when you come to this page. You should see globe with a cube orbiting it above.

Other browsers

If your browser does not support plugins or Java, click on the "no plug-in," or "text version" links when available on our pages.
