UVI Image Data

The online sources of UVI image data are available to be used only to corroborate the results of investigations with other data and not for the interpretation of UVI images. For more information please contact the principal investigator for the UVI experiment, George Parks.

Key Parameter Images

Mosaics of thumbnail key parameter images as seen by the imager above the north pole at 10 minute intervals. (Key parameters are not produced for altitudes below 6 Re).

Near Realtime Images

Images taken at 5 minute intervals while the POLAR satellite is in contact with the Deep Space Network. These images, available within minutes of when they were taken often contain telemetry dropouts and pointing calculations are made using predicted orbit and attitude data.

Browse Images

Images taken using the LBHL filter, sampled at 10 minute intervals throughout a 24 hour period. Telemetry dropouts have been removed and pointing calculations are made using definitive orbit and attitude data.
