The Advanced Neutron Spectrometer on the ISS (ANS-ISS) has completed both the primary and secondary exposure objectives aboard the ISS. The hardware was returned to ground on SPX-28 return flight. All data from the exposures have been collected and analyzed and reported to the RadWorks project. The ANS-ISS has been operating on the ISS since December 2016 and is one element of the project to mature radiation sensors for future crewed exploration missions. RadWorks is led by JSC and supported by LaRC and MSFC.
